Switching
Moving a clinic, described honestly
Changing practice software is disruptive and everybody who tells you otherwise is selling. Here is what the move actually involves, including the parts that are still manual.
What you can do yourself, today
You can bring your patient list yourself
Export your patients from your current system and load the file in. The columns are read from the file's own headings, so it works whether the export says "First Name", "Firstname" or "Given Name", from another system or a spreadsheet kept by hand. Nothing is written until you have seen exactly what would happen.
See it before it happens
The first pass only reads the file. It shows which of its columns were recognised and what each became, how many patients would be created, and exactly who would be skipped and why. Nothing is written until you press the second button.
Nobody is overwritten, ever
A row matching somebody already on your practice is skipped and reported, never merged over the top, so a file can be run again after fixing a few rows.
Ambiguous dates are refused, not guessed
03/04/1980 is March in one country and April in another. The import leaves it blank and gives you the line number rather than putting a coin toss on a clinical record.
Your referrer list and your stock, too
GPs and specialists load from a CSV and match on name, so re-running after fixing three phone numbers updates rather than duplicates. Products import from a stock export with the tax corrected on the way in rather than left for you to find later on an invoice.
Your records leave in one click
Full CSV export of patients, appointments, notes and invoices, whenever you want, without asking us and without a fee. Every export is recorded in the audit log.
